My daughter (6 years old) and I are learning about the world of 3D printing. She is a big fan of the LOL dolls which are very popular at the moment.
To learn about the design process and 3D printing, she first designed a doll on paper. We have had this doll designed into a 2D drawing. We are now looking for someone who can translate a 2D design into a file with the purpose to have the parts printed in 3D and shipped to us.
The size of the to be 3D printed doll is as per the mass produced dolls.
We are looking for the following output:
- 2D to 3D translation of the drawing, scale to size for 3D printing
- printer file for each of the 2 legs
- printer file for each of the 2 arms
- printer file for the body
- printer file for the head
Each printer file need to take into account the following:
- The parts, after printing can be assemled to 1 doll. (Click parts together)
- The base color of the 3D print as per the color of the 2D image (can details like eyes, mouth, etc also be printed, in color?)
- The material to be used in future 3D printing needs to be semi soft plastic (not hard plastic, if possible)
The output here is both the 3D printing files and potentially the 3D printing service.
