Required Magento 2,Website Development freelancer for Magento 2 Speed Optimization job

We have an existing Magento 2 website with many extensions.

Our page load speed sucks. and have been advised that I need a small team with database, server and Magento 2 experience to help us improve this.

Here are some but not all of the identified issues:

1. Frontend issues
   • There is a considerable amount of JavaScript being loaded for every single page request, which is not a necessity and will slow a page considerably. For example: NR JavaScript is loaded every time a visitor lands on your website, which should have been removed from the source.
2. Google Tag Manager
   • GTM can be a very powerful tool for inputting call through scripts; however, the person that coded your site, decided to place the code directly into the templates, which again adds a considerable load.
3. General Code Input
   • I don't think I have ever seen so much code injections included within one page, this includes loads of JavaScript and CSS.
4. Repositories
   • There hasn't been any use of code repositories, which means that the code cannot be reverted to older version if there are any issues and no way of discovering the issues themselves.
5. Varnish
   • This has been installed; however, caching isn't working.
6. Backend Task
   • There are a huge number of backend tasks, being triggered via Cron jobs, including custom scripts, cPanel and third party API request.
7. Elastic Search
   • This is creating heavy loads on the server resources.
8. Server Software
   • The software that is running on the server is outdated.
9. Server Partitioning
   • 1gb of swap partition is being use, optimally there should be a zero swap usage. This may indicate memory leaks or high app memory usage during busy hours.
10. Database
    • There are five different databases running on the system, which are extremely large.

We have built the website over the past year in Magento 2 mainly by a single developer. In order to take the site to the next level, we will need a small team who can sort out many of the above changes.
