We are looking for talented Software Engineers who thrive on solving problems and extracting data from device for us. We currently have a system, the VAI20 camera-monitored animal chamber that serves as the home cage environment for laboratory animals. Within this chamber, data is collected from multiple devices by USB including two cameras, sensors that detect laser beam breaks connected to PLC, gas sensor (data output in .TXT), temperature, humidity, etc. We need the Software Engineer to extract data from each device and integrate this data into one desktop application.
Responsibilities:
- Working with a team in an agile, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery software development process.
- Understanding and defining software requirements
- Add extracted data into system, adding new features, fixing defects, etc.
