Looking for a licensed architect (under the Architects Licensure Law - PA Code 63 P.S. 34.1-34.22) to provide floor plan(s) for a new Indoor Golf Practice Facility at the Valley Country Club (Sugarloaf, PA). The drawing must be to scale, include all new wall types, locations for new electrical/ A/V receptacles, locations for new HVAC mini-split HVAC system(s) and address all state, local & national codes regarding ADA compliance, life safety & egress as required to obtain a commercial building permit in Sugarloaf Township, PA. Structural, HVAC & electrical engineering not required. Looking for architectural documents/ drawings only.
The existing building (golf cart storage barn & proshop) is face brick/ stucco facade with CMU back-up, conventional wood trusses, un-insulated with asphalt shingle roofing. See attached photos of existing building. There is approximately 1000SF of shell space that has been created inside the existing building - approximately 19' x 53'. The height from the concrete (slab-on-grade) to the bottom chord of the wood trusses is +/- 10'-4'. I will share our existing conditions and conceptual floor plan drawings (in PDF).
The basis of design for the new Indoor Golf Practice Facility are as follows:
- Ceiling: Suspended acoustical/ 'Drop' ceiling system. Minimum ceiling height 10'-0'
- Flooring: Luxury Vinyl Plank (direct glue down with pressure sensitive adhesive)
- Walls: Furring of existing exterior walls and new interior wall will require insulation)
- Golf Hitting Mats: Fiberbuilt Combo Putting/ Hitting System (10'x10')
Site visit not required. Additional photos, dimensions, etc. can be provided upon request.
