Looking for a website specialist (preferably an individual (freelancer), or a small team) with experience using Wordpress in connection with Dreamhost to team up with me and build two Real Estate websites.
About Our Company:
- We are just beginning to build up our marketing presence on a budget. we are less liquid because we chose to expand our business during COVID-19 pandemic - before taking next steps in paid marketing, we need an awesome website to direct our customers to. We want it to be enticing, friendly, and catered towards what each of our two business offer
- This project is negotiable and all portions do not have to be completed all at once. However, I am looking for someone who is interested in staying connected for future projects and ongoing support
- We have an existing presence on social media for both companies, and we want to connect our social media links to the two new websites
- Our target markets are Real Estate Entities in Maryland, DC/VA, and Florida. We are working to become an all-in-one Real Estate powerhouse, that provides a wide range of services to real estate entities in all 50 states.
Details of the Job:
1. The first website we will focus on is for our main wholesale real estate business, Ultra Investment Group. We have an already-made website on Wixand needs to be recreated on Wordpress, and connected to our host (Dreamhost) upon completion.
Background information:
- Our domain name was originally purchased through Google Domains and is connected to our business Gsuite acct-- Our DNS settings in Dreamhost Shared Hosting are configured specifically to make sure our Gsuite account/emails work
- *When we switched to Dreamhost, our Gsuite access was disabled for a day because our DNS settings did not have our google information, which we CANNOT let happen again*
- I have a subdomain set up on Wordpress to start developing this new website before connecting it back to our main domain
- I have all the content from the current live wix website on file, as well as the details of our brand (fonts, colors, etc) I can easily send onto a web developer.
- I have a clear list of additions/plugins we would like to add to the new Wordpress site
What we are looking for from an EXPERIENCED website developer:
- Hands-on (virtual) assistance getting started creating the backend infrastructure and putting content onto the Wordpress site
- Ability to schedule virtual video conferencing for screensharing or phone call support
- Knowledge on how to connect the Wordpress site to Dreamhost and make sure all pages work cleanly and transfer on the frontend
- Clear confirmation that I can manage the website from my end as needed
- Availability to rehire you (the web developer) for future website edits and support
- Someone with knowledge regarding DNS settings and configuration
- Basic SEO knowledge, how to add keyword plugins that will get us found on Google
- Create mobile friendly website
2. The second website I need support creating is our newly opened Real Estate Brokerage company "Ultra Home Team."
Background information:
- We have a purchased google domain that is in the process of transferring to Dreamhost Shared Hosting
- I have a subdomain set up on Dreamhost to begin building the website from scratch before connecting it to our main domain.
- I have a list of websites available to use as references while creating the site to explain what we want the site to look like
- *I am open to buying a real estate Wordpress template IF it fits within our marketing budget and is necessary however, any external templates must allow us to have internal control for future edits AND clean connection to Dreamhost shared hosting)*
- *The colors, font, and branding of this site are similar to that of our primary business (Ultra Investment Group), I have files for content available*
- This Real Estate Brokerage Business is ran by the same team that started our Wholesale Real Estate Business, Ultra Investment Group
What we are looking for from an EXPERIENCED website developer:
- Hands-on (virtual) assistance setting up the Real Estate Brokerage website from scratch and help creating basic infrastructure that easily allows me to implement content onto the Wordpress website
- Ability to schedule virtual video conferencing for screensharing or phone call support w/ web developer
- Advice regarding best options for real estate website templates (that fit within budget and are customizable in Wordpress)
- Advice and support in setting up IDX/MLS stream plugins that CLEANLY configure to DreamHost to view our property listings
- Knowledge and support on ways to integrate this website with our other business/domain - we want clients to access both websites and navigate fluidly
- Basic SEO knowledge, how to add keyword plugins that will get us found on Google
