Want to join a fast growing, global ecommerce retailer in the Fitness & Lifestyle industry?
We are looking for a highly driven, dynamic, collaborative individual with experience in inventory management, analysis, merchandise planning, vendor management and logistics to join our global team.
This is a remote full time role, looking to commence immediately for the right candidate.
1) Inventory Management & Analysis
Monitoring large volume of SKUs, identify fast movers, slow movers to determine inventory and ordering requirements.
Leverage the systems in place to automate management, setting up notifications for stock that falls below buffer levels.
Develop inventory ordering requirements, drafting optimal purchasing plans through quarterly orders and ongoing order requirements.
Submit purchase orders through our inventory management system, ensuring that these flow through to our ecommerce team.
3) Vendor Management
Work closely with maintaining a key supplier list, update details and ensure that we have a strong relationship with all vendors.
Identify sales opportunities or new merchandising, keeping on top of order flow, costs and exclusive opportunities.
4) Costing and Profit Management
Owning and operating a key master costing sheet, ensuring that all products hit required profitability levels.
Negotiating with suppliers to improve costing, through volumes, rebates or discounts to help drive incremental improvements.
Work closely with accounting to develop slow moving/aged inventory reports to identify key liquidation and sale areas for at risk stock.
5) Logistics & Shipping
Work closely with vendors to identify most cost effective, efficient shipping options.
For larger orders, work closely with shipping company to help navigate timing, costing and shipping requirements.
Ensure that all documentation is managed to ensure smooth delivery through customs, duties and importation.
6) Product Creation Process
Lead the information flow for the product creation process on our ecommerce systems.
Work closely with ecommerce to provide details of product pipeline, product details and align to receive digital assets.
7) Team Briefing & Product Pipeline
Keep in communication with team to identify flow of new products, ETAs and all information and assets.
This is key to identifying timelines to align with product launches and releases.
8) Processes & Automation
Use our systems to your advantage to identify purchasing requirements, stock levels and liquidation requirements. Always look for ways to improve process, reduce manual workload and automate.
Day to Day to input new products into the system, digital asset collection and download:
Marketing Team to identify new products in pipeline, arrival timelines
Head of Product- Work closely with the head of product for private label product creation and management.
Full Time Role of approximately 40 hours per month
Salary / Retainer
This role will be a contract retainer
