I followed this tutorial (
https://codelabs.developers.google.com/codelabs/cloud-kubernetes-aspnetcore/) to deploy my .Net Core API into Google Kubernetes. I have since updated the app a few times, and it is very easy to use.
However, I need the endpoint to be SSL.
I have looked at this page - Enabling SSL for Cloud Endpoints (
https://cloud.google.com/endpoints/docs/openapi/enabling-ssl). It doesn't make this look easy. Near the bottom of that article, they suggest using kube-lego (
https://github.com/jetstack/kube-lego), but when I follow that link, it states the project is 'in maintenance mode only', and suggests the replacement is: cert-manager (
https://github.com/jetstack/cert-manager/) I found a Youtube video on that, but it looked a little more involved than I want to get.
For somebody that has done this before, I would expect this to be less than hour of work. My hope is to find somebody willing to work with me for small 'DevOps' projects like this with our current project. We may have future needs where it will be a little more involved, and building that relationship ahead of time is important.
Thanks for reading my job posting.
