Lab:

isos:
No new isos are required for this lab. The latest build of the full DVD iso of CentOS7 will be required for lab 8.

Install and configure your DHCP:
- Install isc-dhcp-server on your firewall
- Configure the DHCP server to serve on the internal interface of your firewall connected to domainwindows10.
- Configure a DHCP pool and all of the required settings (if you do not remember the settings, look at the DHCP presentation and look in the required reading). Take a screenshot of your configuration file.
- Configure a name (search domain) of the network (use the domain name configured in DNS).
- Configure a DHCP reservation for domainwindows10

Facilitate remote management of domainwindows10:
- Configure a DHCP reservation for domainwindows10.
- Implement port forwarding on your firewall so that port 3089 on the external firewall interface is forwarded to port 3089 on domainwindows10

Test Your DHCP Server
- Remove the static configuration of domainwindows10's network configuration. Reboot domainwindows10 and check its network configuration. For full credit, all settings above should be received from the DHCP server (take a screenshot).
- Use Remote Desktop protocol to connect to the firewall's external NIC address. Take a screenshot when Remote Desktop Protocol has successfully connected to domainwindows10 through the firewall.
- On domainwindows10, remove the entry in the hosts file referring to your web server's hostname. Use a web browser to navigate to webserver's hostname only (do NOT use the fully qualified domain name or the IP address to navigate to webserver's homepage). Take a screenshot. Remember, this is enabled by adding the domain-name option in your dhcp configuration file.

1. Insert a Table which includes the IP Address Plan which you have created for your 2 networks
(one for your DMZ and one for the "Trusted Network"). Your DMZ is where your servers will go
and your "Trusted Network" is where your workstations (domainwindows10 and other
workstations) will go.

2. Download and install nmap on domainwindows10. When installing nmap, allow non-
administrators to scan using nmap.

3. Scan your network to get a network inventory using a "Stealth Scan" which is the default scan
mode of Network Mapper (nmap). Remember both networks are available from
domainwindows10 through the router (your firewall). Use the "output to XML feature of nmap
so that you can get your scan results in a file.

4. Submit your IP Address Plan, your nmap scan results, and screenshots to document the steps which you took.
