As humans, we're drawn into a great story. One surefire way to ruin the moment? Copy editing errors.
At WeContent, we're driven to tell amazing stories for our clients, but we need someone looking out for the little things. We're looking for a part-time copy editor to give each article one last look-through before posting.
As copy editor, the buck stops with you. We need 100% assurance that the pieces we post are going to be error-free. If you're up to the challenge, we should talk.
The right candidate will have experience as a b2b copy editor, preferably in the technology world (e.g. big data, developer tools, enterprise software).
When applying, please briefly answer the following questions:
1. As an editor, what do you need from your client (i.e. Me) to be successful?
2. How do you get up to speed on the unique needs of each client?
3. How long does it take you to edit a 1000 word article? What factors play into the time it takes to edit?
Thanks
