We are small team looking to add to our Laravel/PHP software/ front end engineer. Laravel (PHP framework list) need to have experience with PostgresSQL (LAMP architecture structure), mysql, apache, nginx.We need engineer that are reliable, trustworthy, honest and technically capable of doing the job of providing ongoing support. Being flexible about your day-to-day tasks, you will wear many hats here and will need to revise/research to provide correct long term scalable suggestions.
Skills and experience:
Debugging, documentation, and unit testing. .
4+ years of technical experience with Laravel. And strong knowledge of PostgresSql; ability to create relational data models
Degree in Computer Science a PLUS
Experience implementing design systems
Linux experience (HOSTING= CentOS or RedHat) IS NOT necessary but +!!!
Full Stack (CSS HTML, JS) Wordpress is a +
C+/ NET programmer is a +
PHP Object Oriented concepts, traits, auto-loading, etc.
Laravel Eloquent, facades, authentication, migrations, emailing, crons, etc.
Linux command-line Knowledge of file system, permissions, basic networking, and other fundamentals you will be working from VM/Virtual Private client servers.
JavaScript & jQuery Solid understanding of basic JavaScript frameworks (Angular / Ember / Vue / Backbone etc.)
Git Basics and workflow
Expertise in multiple technology platforms/languages such as:
RESTful Web services
SOAP Web services
Java Development, RESTEasy, Java EE, JPA, Spring framework a plus
PHP 5.4+: Zend, CMS, custom frameworks - Web Services: XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, consuming + hosting
Search Engines: Apache Solr, Lucene - HTML/CSS: Smarty, HTML4+5, CSS3+, Blueprint, tableless design
Operating Sys: Windows, Linux (primarily Ubuntu, Fedora, Opensuse, and CentOS),
Version & Quality Control: Perforce, Git, Subversion (Command line and GUI) and Test Director or similar tools
