We have an existing platform about to launch. I have a lead developer that will get you up to speed and manage you. This is a very specific need so please only apply if you have experience solving this exact issue.
We run on AWS. We have an EC2 instance that pulls from our S3 bucket. On our feed users can upload media to a post. Before And after they they post, videos are represented by a thumbnail. After a post has posted a user clicks on a thumbnail which automatically loads the video. We did this to reduce load times and memory requirements. Everything works great Except for the fact that .MOV files sometimes refuse to show a thumbnail before and after posting primarily in google chrome but also sometimes in safari and Firefox. We understand that .MOV files have a history of giving trouble I. Google chrome but we are hoping someone out there has come up with a a solution or method that makes .mov files work properly across the board.
Platform is built in React and runs on AWS so you will need extensive training with both platforms.
Thank you.
