Accounting Manager
Our firm provides outsourced accounting and business management services to small/mid size businesses in a wide variety of industries.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced managerial accountant who has a broad background in various industries and thorough knowledge of GAAP. The ideal candidate is SMART. Duties:
As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for participating in and supervising significant portions of the financial close process.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
Provide timely and accurate financial reports: monthly, quarterly, year-end close
Use GAAP principals to monitor compliance, accounting policies and procedures
Manage and mentor staff regarding non-routine accounting transactions as needed
Maintain a higher than average level of accuracy
Create customer reporting including KPI
Client overview and support
Identify and utilize technologies to create efficiencies in clients' accounting processes
Resource center for staff/employee questions and issues
Develop and document internal and client specific procedures and processes

Mandatory requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/CPA Preferred
5 years or more of proven financial reporting/general ledger experience
1+ year in a managerial role
GAAP/Audit experience
Financial analytics and modeling
Advanced QuickBooks knowledge including 3rd party apps and integrations
Previous exposure to Practice CS - Accounting Practice Management Software
Inventory systems management
Payroll including all aspects of reporting/government filings
Sales Tax (multi-state experience a plus)
Exposure to various software systems such as Retail Pro, Sales Force, SAP, Counterpoint, Lightspeed, NetSuite, Tax Jar, Avalara, etc.
E-commerce back-end systems such as Shopify, 4P, Amazon, etc.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel (V-lookups, formulas, filtering, sorting, formatting),
MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), QuickBooks Enterprise and Online, Bill.com
Overtime will be required

Compensation: Commensurate with prior experience
