We are a fast-growing eCommerce company selling in the US and the UK looking to add a Product Research & Sourcing Specialist to our team.
The VA is required to work 2-3 hours each day initially.
We eventually want the VA to work full time after more training and experience with us. We prefer applicants who want to add value to our business through continuous improvement and new product ideas that match our niche and direction.
This salary will be $3 per hour (negotiable depending on value you can bring)
We are after someone who has:
- A strong command over written and spoken English
- Strong Experience in sourcing products from China through Alibaba and full knowledge of private label sourcing process (Using 1688 for product prices comparison is a big plus)
- Strong Experience in Amazon Product research (you need to be able to add value, create bundle ideas to differentiate from competition and apply basic profitability and demand vs competition metrics)
- Must be able to prove and demo their work results
- Friendly, hard-working and motivated
- Obsessed with precision and detail
- Organized. Great ability to follow through
- Can follow systems / checklists that we have created, for flawless execution of tasks
- Resourceful, someone who can make things happen without needing hand-holding at every turn
- Pride in your work. Can't sleep until something is done perfectly.
- Someone who is seeking to be part of something special, to have their work mean something important.
- Strength in online research and new trends for our product niche is a big plus
- You must have strong reliable internet and a relatively new laptop or home computer with no interruptions (power or internet)
Your job will be to fully support the product research and sourcing tasks of our business. We have expanded very rapidly and need a dependable person for the long term who can expand our product line-up goals for next year. Thus, this job will be split into 2 phases for the successful applicant:
1. Phase-1: A paid project basis task. You will be given a number of products to source as a test. If You pass then you will qualify to Phase -2 as a part-time VA.
2. Phase-2: You will be working part-time on product research and sourcing. Depending on your skill set we might expand the services we require from you and give you a full time placement. That will be based on a quarterly review
