VA with Ecommerce experience to research USA dropshipping suppliers/systems

Hello!

I run a small Shopify store which sell Home decor products. Currently we are on the low-end of products and dropshipping from AliExpress (lame) - but the products are good, and the store gets minor organic traffic and sales currently (1/mo).

I no longer want to dropship overseas; dealing with their customer support, shipping times, etc. I need to find dropshipping suppliers in the US and figure out how we can get in their program for free/cheap. I would prefer using the newer dropshipping apps but a lot of them just rebrand AliExpress items and ship from China anyway, please be aware of that.

Overall goal: Source and implement new US dropshipping suppliers with around -1 week delivery times. High-end/high-ticket products is the goal, I have a ton of (low-end) products on my current store to get an idea of what we currently sell (home decor).

As a Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for handling the companys end to end sourcing operations. The successful candidate will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the companys spending, supplying partnerships and new possibilities.

Responsibilities
- Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
- Analyze and calculate costs of procurement
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency (Once we start using the suppliers)
- Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
- Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries


Requirements
- Proven work experience as a sourcing manager or procurement manager
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software
- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
- Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions on companies to deal with and products to use
