Looking for an experianced industrial designer or engineer to update an existing design to integrate with a new vehicle model year update.
We manufacture automotive exterior parts and have a current fender design that we need to update and model for plastic injection manufacturing.
Using existing vehicle data the ideal candidate will have some automotive experiance in modeling new exterior products using CAD software and drafting techniques for manufacturability. Product Integration and retention of factory attachment points are necessary.
Designing for manufacturability: Products will require attention to draft angles to avoid 'die lock' and aid in manufacturing.
Our native software is Catia V5 and would prefer to receive files in native format however IGES or STEP files may be acceptable.
