I am looking for an Agency & Mobile Development Team for long term work who is an expert in android app development with an emphasis on backend skills. Specifically java backend.
We have stock market chart app currently on the Play Store and growing features the list of features each day. We are excited about the future of this app and feel it has alot of potential.
Our full technology stack consists of:
- Native Java Android app
- Java with Tomcat for the backend
- Heroku and CloudSQL server
- a small amount of PHP
- Stock market API data providers.
Your first task will be:
Migrate our server from Heroku to another server platform such as AWS, Cloud App Engine, Hostwinds (preferred due to low cost), or another platform.
Our server needs roughly 4GB+ of ram due to the large sets of raw stock market data we handle but is currently underpowered while trying to keep costs to a minimum. We need the server configured for maximum performance and optimal cost. Then you will be given additional tasks after that.
There will also be a need for LOTS of future and ongoing work such as:
- front end work
- New feature development
- Algorithm development
- design
- and more
We also have plans to expand the application to iOS, and eventually web platforms.
An Agency is preferred. There is currently and individual developer working on this so you will be working in tandem with him and will be a great opportunity to learns the complex systems that our app encompass.
