5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI Engineer or related field in a company with large, complex data sources.
Expertise in Redshift & RDS database, optimizing, tuning queries, tables and applying business rules/logic.
Expertise in developing Reporting warehouse layer (Views) for consumption based on visualization requirements.
Proficient in SQL and ETL activities
Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
Explore and learn the latest AWS technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiencies.
Designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines and other BI solutions.
Work closely with business owners, developers, Business Intelligence Engineer to explore new data sources and deliver the data
Ability to perform quick discovery work and POCs with business in data engineering tasks.
Must have experience with Agile/Scrum
Must have the ability to work independently
Must have good communication skills
