Responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation and operations of our Blueprism RPA infrastructure, taking into account servers, databases, file shares, robot machines, network, security and anything required. Infrastructure Engineer ensures the RPA program has a strong, scalable, and extensible operational base to run on.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience in design, standing and maintaining Blueprism Infrastructure and underlining components such as network, vdi, database, certificates, security and etc
- Own maintenance of the RPA infrastructure; to include patching, backup and upgrades to both the application and underlying operating systems
- Managing the application portfolio on the robot machines; configuring new robots and associating them to different environments
- Day-to-Day Administration of all RPA environment including server, vdi, studio on laptop-desktop, certificates, database, security
- Monitoring and escalation of alerts to vendors and others internal teams, working actively on resolution
- Hands-on experience in providing support to Blueprism echo system such as OCR and NLP
- Prior Services Experience in developing vbscript, powershell script, windows batch programming and C#.NET to create monitoring programs and utilities
- Monitoring of bots in production and ensure SLA is meet with business
- In charge of the RPA desktop and server environment data clean-up strategy
- Virtualization Technologies knowledge (Vmware, Citrix is required
- Cloud Solutions knowledge (AWS, Azure) is required
- Occasionally Provide 24/7 on-call support after hours
- Respond to inquiries for support requests from internal customers and developers and support end-user client installations, configurations, updates and migrations through problems
- Stays abreast of current RPA and AI technology trends to ensure an effective and sustainable RPA platform
Background / Skillset:
- Experience supporting Windows desktops and servers hosting Windows-based applications
- Network security, management and windows operating systems - minimum 3 years
- Working knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers, security - minimum 3 years
- Proven experience with the installation and support of Windows-based applications in virtual environments; Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 virtual desktop and Windows Server 2012 R2 -minimum 7 years
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and SQL Server 2012+, and Microsoft Office products -minimum 3 years
- Experience using automated monitoring tools
- Knowledge of ITIL and industry best practices
- Strong virtualization experience using Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Nutanix
- Experience in Blueprism Infrastructure
- Experience with incident ticketing systems, workstation management systems and desktop imaging
- Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills, results oriented
- Team player with experience in collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solution
