We want to have a simple to use spreadsheet for inventory control that can be used on ipad and android tablet - Google sheets, maybe?
We have around 60 products, which each have from one to six sizes. We purchase the raw product from numerous vendors, and sell within 24 hours. The inventory totals must be updated frequently during the workday. We will have 5,000 to 10,000 items on hand, available for sales to only 2 customers - not to general public.
We need a spreadsheet so that workers can keep track of current inventory, purchase orders pending receipt from vendors, orders from customers pending to fill and ship, and excess stock.
We have started keeping track using a spreadsheet, but this requires physical counts. We use Quickbooks for accounting, but inventory adjustments must be done in the office, not on the work floor, and require exporting to a spreadsheet, and must be formatted to be useful.
Spreadsheet needs to show: 1) pending orders, 2) pending receipts from vendors (purchase orders), 3) stock on hand.
Spreadsheet must be shareable and usable on ipad, android tablet, and windows 10 pc.
Every user must be able to: 1) add inventory, 2) delete inventory (unusable), 3) move inventory from one size to another size.
We use Microsoft Excel.
