What we're looking for:
Someone who can build a chrome-extension and backend application.
Description of the Application:
Scenario #1: Install and Registration and Login
- Standard Chrome extension install.
- Uses Twitter API to register and login
Scenario #1: Social Influencer
(i) Visit a URL (e.g., removed by Toogit admin)
(ii) Click extension icon and select 'Add Note'
(iii) Enter text and 'Save'
(iv) Note is stored in a table (hosted on AWS) with Twitter Handle, URL, DateTime, Note
Scenario #2: Reader (is logged in via Twitter API)
(i) App knows Reader Twitter handle and uses API to retrieve who this reader follows ('FOLLOW LIST').
(ii) IFF there is a match in Reader's FOLLOW LIST and current URL in the table with Twitter Handle and URL, then display indicator on icon for number of matches.
(iv) Reader clicks on icon to 'Show Notes'
(v) Notes appear
NOTE: A user can be both a READER and SOCIAL INFLUENCER
To complete all the deliverables, the right developer will have experience in the following:
- Building Chrome Extensions
- Javascript and CSS
- AWS setup (Lambda?)
