We are looking for a competent Camera Operator to capture high quality and attractive images for a film. You'll be an integral part of our mission to spread information and striking visuals to the world. The camera operator we're looking for has a steady hand and quick reflexes. The shoot will require you to film at least one (sit down) talking head interview, on the spot (casual) interviews and the rest will be more run-and-gun documentary-style shooting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shoot scenes according to requirements
- Capture quality footage from a fixed or moving position
The perfect candidate for this position should have:
- Their own equipment
- Local to this area
- Reliable transportation
- Open availability
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as camera operator
- Excellent theoretical knowledge of filming and capturing footage
- Outstanding portfolio of professional cinematography work
- Strong technical knowledge of digital cinema camera operation
- Relevant documentary experience and comfortable both taking direction and working alone.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think and act quickly
