Required computer printers freelancer for Canon immageRunner Hard drive preparation (imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5535i) job

We bought around 10 imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5535i printers/copiers from one of our suppliers. They were installed in bank and I suppose the easiest thing for them was to remove hard drives. So we end up with machines with no hard drives. But, as they use 2.5 normal hdd-s we have many laying around. We need to find our the process to prepare the clean hard drive for these imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5535i in order to be able to use them. We need supported software for windows or usb for the copier itself to be able to format drives in the way to make it work for the copier. We tried to use regular drive, installed it, use the software from usb to prepare and format drive but it didn't go through. On the other hand, when inserting those hard drives back in pc we noticed they are encrypted. So we have moderate knowledge about printers, but need support for this issue because we havent done such thing before. Thank you in advance
