Role: Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics Developer (Client Facing)

Must Haves:
Senior Level TM1 Development experience; Planning Analytics, Full SDLC (Design, Development, Deployment)
The role would be to part of a growing Financial Performance Management team reporting with IBM TM1 / PA & Cognos. The ideal candidate will have Business experience with coding skills sufficient to discuss building reports and dashboards on data from TM1 / PA cubes and other sources. Experience working with users in the function of an Administrator , Analyst , TM1 Security, migration of TM1 models, and general knowledge of development are valued as to determine appropriate design and coding
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of Cognos TM1 development experience
- Strong working experience in TM1 including all aspects of design and implementation including: Architect, TM1 Modeler, TM1 Web, Cafe, Insight, Turbo Integrator, Feeders, TM1 cube design, multicurrency, multinational, reporting & security.
- Experience Administration and requirements associated in developing cubes, reports, and dashboards with TM1 9.5x and 10.x or PA product
- Working experience in web-based applications that use TM1/PA as a data source as Executive Viewer and Arcplan/Dynasight is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication
- Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills
- Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting functions and related processes
Skills Needed:
- Work with Business Units to develop specifications and configurations for coders .
- Administer and assist in Development of reports by leveraging existing TM1 models/cubes as sources
- Integrate applications built on TM1 cubes, using TM1 Security to manage access/partitions
- Design, test and implement reliable, scalable, and efficient Cognos TM1 solutions
- Design, test and implement user interfaces to the TM1 platform
- Document TM1 and planning-related processes, report development, and data flow
- Support the development of standard and ad-hoc reports
- Author knowledge-sharing documentation
