The mission is simple:
1. Find data on mortality rates in USA from 2019 - 2020
Mortality_Multiple (Note this only has data to 2018, so you will need to find more recent data).
2. Create a chart (or series of charts) that show the various causes of death per month.
3. Compare 2019 figures to 2020 figures, comparing MONTH TO MONTH deaths.
The purpose of this chart is to asses the actual impact of COVID-19 deaths compared with other illnesses and causes of death.
Is COVID-19 really as dangerous as it seems? Or have deaths been marked as COVID-19 instead of other causes of death? Does what we're told in the media match the facts? This is a chart that, for some reason is not available in the media.
4. NOTE - if you can't find the date for the USA, see if you can find it for UK, ITALY, SPAIN or another western country.
I have heard that the total mortality is not more than last year - and that many deaths are being added to Covid-19 - which should show a reduced number of deaths from other things.
I'd like to see the actual numbers.
Any questions - let me know.
