I need a system developed to control and monitor a piece of agriculture equipment, the planter. The planter simply takes bulb seed and places it in the ground with hopefully equal spacing. Traditional, older planters are run from a tire with a chain (ground-driven). Newer, more advanced planters use an electric motor on each row to plant the seed. This option is very, very expensive to buy from the name brands. My idea is to develop the product myself and with freelancers so that I can market the product to customers at a much lower price than competitors. I need a circuit to read information from sensors. It also needs to be able to control various motors and air compressor systems. There will need to be three weight sensors per row, the total number per planter depends on how big the planter is. There will need to be one electric motor on the row. There will be one hydraulic actuator per row. There will be two pneumatic cylinders. Lastly, there will be two 'eye' sensors per row and one moisture sensor per row. I encourage you to inform yourself on how a planter runs. This system needs to be easily integrated into a computer that can be built to fit this system.
