This project has three major requirements. They are as follows;
The first requirement is to mask the entire site with a blank login page. The whole site will be in Xenforo's latest version. Before login, any visitor will see a blank page with only the user ID and password and a submit button. Only when user login successfully through the same login system as Xeneforo, then they can access all the regular content.
The second requirement is to be able to turn any postbit on any of the forum thread into a collective entries, we called it the briefing room. When user clicks on a button besides each postbit, the system will then save this request into the backend tables. Then we have a dedicated page call the briefing room (which you can see on the PDF document). The briefing room page would list all the postbit items that has been marked as push to the briefing room. And the briefing room page will have pagination. This page will only display the first 300 characters from the postbit that we have together with the posting information.
The third requirement for this application is to detect if there's any PDF attachment for each and every postbit. If so, it will then call to the backend to pull the PDF and the display the PDF in line as embed PDF (pdf.js might help).
