Hi, I'm looking to hire someone with experience in customer service for my statistical consultancy. I need assistance managing and working with clients and customer complaints when they come up. Also, proofreading, writing, some editing, etc. None of this requires you to have expertise in statistics or any other field, outside of being a native/fluent English speaker and being a decent at writing.
This job will include contacting current clients on a weekly basis to provide updates and otherwise to ensure that 'everything is OK.' That they're happy with the progress and the work so far, etc. When I'm dealing with complaints/problem clients, the task would be to mediate and to work to come to a positive resolution with the client.
When customer service issues come up, I would need them handled the same day. Weekly calls I can give one day advance notice. It will also be important to be able to make and receive phone calls. The customer service workload averages half an hour to an hour a week, and I will pay a half hour/hour per week as a minimum (even if there is no work required) as a 'retainer.' The proofreading, writing, editing, etc. will vary - I would expect zero to a few hours per week on average. At time, more (if I get writing jobs that don't require statistical expertise).
