We are looking for Data Engineers/Scientists (multiple openings) eager to use data cleansing and wrangling techniques that can help businesses transform volumes of data into actionable information. This job can result in a remote full-time position.
Your key responsibilities
- Clean, manipulate, normalize and transform data into actionable insights
- Communicate findings
- Working closely with founder (based in Germany)

You will be successful in this position if you
- Have a burning desire to clean and transform messy data into actionable insights
- Have experience interpreting data
- Have strong skills in SQL, understanding of database and field types, ability to write SQL queries
- Have reading knowledge of R and Python and have strong skills in one language
- Have knowledge of big data concepts like Hadoop, MapReduce, and HDFS
- Are keen to keep in touch with the latest advances in your area
- Have a hands-on attitude and are highly self-driven
- Bonus: Have experience with BI tools
