We are a group of Freelancers who are building awesome projects for start-ups and scale-ups in the Netherlands using newest technology and fun. You will be working on a dedicated project using latest technology and innovative ideas where you get a lot of responsibility and freedom. Our team is responsible for the full stack but using specialists per part of our stack.
At this moment we are looking for a new team member who is specialized in Data Warehouses
Your tasks will include
- Architect the managed data warehouse (choose the technology stack, should be cloud based)
- Design the table structure (schema)
- Setup backups (including restore tests) and monitoring
- Setup permissions and roles
- Create ETL (extract-transform-load) from the SQL database and other data sources, noting sync performance for large datasets (GB size)
- Work with multi-year datasets, in which data schemas have changed significantly
- Performance optimization by for example precalculation and denormalization
- Create regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) in pdf and excel
- Assist business with data analytics and statistics
- Assist developer with query optimization
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Able to speak English to discuss projects with videocall
Current Team
Our team exist of Senior Product Owners, Front-end Developers, Back-end Developers, DevOps, App developers and Designers. We are looking for a Data warehouse Developer who likes to take ownership and has a strong opinion.
Our selection will be done using a take home assignment (2-4 hours) and a video call. We only are looking for long term relationships, we guarantee 20 to 40 hours per week and minimum of 3 months (some already working for 7 years)
Our benefits are between 30$-45$ per hour (depending on experience), hardware reimbursement and other additional benefits.
No agency or company interest, only direct freelancers to join our team of developers.

- Proven experience:
as senior data warehouse developer with architectural role
with SQL and noSQL
with ETL (streaming, incremental and full)
with scale ups
with scripted deployment
with data security and privacy
with statistics and data science tooling (e.g. R)
with data normalization (3NF to 5NF) and denormalization
