MIgrating SQL 2005 database to SQL2012. That's simple enough. To qualify you must have working knowledge about Load Master transportation management software from McLeod Software in Birmingham, AL. Project is expected to start testing in current month and finish with a go-line on end of month. Here are the steps outlined in the project by McLeod:
- Copy LoadMaster installation to the new server and edit configuration as needed
- License software for use on the new server
- Restore database backup from current production instance to new DEV instance
- Set up interface to Mileage application
- Test new DEV instance
- Set Go-Live date
- Shut down existing production environment
- Restore database backup from current production instance to new production instance
- Review of Integration Services and apply changes as needed
- Go Live with on-going testing and tweaking
