I am looking for an experienced application developer who can produce both android and iOS versions of the app to completion, by which I mean deployment on the app store and Google play store.
The app is fairly straightforward in that there will be a database of products, with about 10 different fields, and a database of stores with some limited info about the store, including name, logo, aisle numbers and aisle names..
The user will be able to see the list of stores based on geolocation or by selecting a city.. Within a store, users will be able to view the details of a product in several different ways: by selecting from a full list that can be narrowed down by typing a name, origin, etc.; they will also be able to find products in an aisle, or they will be able to find a product by a qr code. Finding a product by any of these methods brings the user to the same product detail page.
The info presented for each store will be presented the same way for each store.
The number of products will differ by store, as will the number and names of aisles, but the user will see identical functionality for each store. In this sense, the content would be dynamic, because one store may have 10 aisles whereas other stores might have 50 aisles. This info would be provided by the store owner.
The user will be able to browse products in a store, add to and maintain a store - specific wish list, write reviews that will be posted publicly using their nickname as an identifier. The user should be able to type a review and record a rating from a scale, though I am interested in what would be required to be able to produce a written review using voice recognition.
Users will retain a master list of products reviewed in which they can see all their reviews, what store it was in, what date they wrote it, etc.
Whenever they encounter that product again in a store, they will see it has already been reviewed by them.
Some social components should be considered, such as the ability to share reviews with friends, tweet reviews, post reviews on Facebook and Instagram, etc
The app will be free for the user, but they will have to register with an email, name, public nickname, date of birth, and gender.
The ability to present ads to the user should be considered, a though this will not be part of the first version.
Store owners will be able to upload all the details of their store and products in the store. They will have to pay for each store they upload.
They can receive multi-store discount. It may be better to have this done via a website, but I am looking for you to provide some advise on how best to incorporate this store owner content, ie as part of the app or via a separate website. Payment can be by PayPal or whatever.
I have built and deployed an Android app that is the basis for this new app, but is specific to only one store and doesn't have the capacity for adding new stores.
The code for this app is not available, because I built it using appmachine.
It could be reverse engineered.
Alternatively I can give you access to the app in appmachine so you can see the components of it.
I cannot show you the app until a contract has been agreed and an nda has been signed.
I have changed the description of what the app does in order to give you an idea of the scope and capabilites required.
