This project is to take a working prototype Edge-to-gateway-to-cloud OTA update application and refine it to be production ready. The application will run on an internet-connected gateway to manage a group of locally connected edge devices. These devices receive remote firmware updates via the gateway.
The software will be based on the TI SImpleLink CC13x2/CC26x2 SDK 3.20 SDK. It will run on a CC1352P ARM Cortex M4. A working sample application exists. This project will add features as needed to get to a production release.
Basic steps in the project are as follows:
1. Review the current application and gain familiarization with the working sample.
2. Review the system design that is already underway and identify enhancements to the OTA application.
3. Design, write, debug and test the enhancements.
4. Assist the project team with integrating the OTA application into the system release.
5. Provide a specified amount of ongoing support.
Project will be written in C99 for the TI CC1352P using the SimpleLink SDK 3.20.
