We are currently seeking a skilled individual/ team that is able to create an app & website that will be able to integrate with each other to provide a service for our clients.
Who we are: We are an employment agency based in the East Toronto, Canada area.
What are looking to create: We are looking to create an easy to use web based staff booking system for our clients. Our clients are used to calling into our agency or emailing to book the staff that they need for the day.
We are looking to create a web based booking system that they can make their requests in which will remove the need to interact directly with the agency.
Website Requirements:
- Must has a portal login that will cater to each client
- Must have the following criteria fields for each request:
o Position
o Duration of shift (plus how many days they will need the staff)
o Location of job site
o Requirements for job (i.e safety shoes, hard hat)
o Hourly Rate (for the staff)
o Special requirements (forklift license, extreme heavy lifting)
o Previous staff preference (if they would like to book a staff that has previously worked there)
o ** They must be able to save these Job postings so they don't have to create a new posting every time there is a request **
App Requirements:
- The app will be designed for the staff so it much be easy to use as well as appealing
- Must have an "indeed like" design feel
- Must have a button that says "available shifts"
- The staff must be able to filter through the positions by pay rate as well as by location
- There needs to be a short registration form before the staff can start working that is comprised of the following information:
o First Name
o Last Name
o Email
o Contact Number
o Current Address
o SIN Number
o Direct Deposit (Account, Transit, and Institution numbers)
o Illegibility to work (Candidate MUST be able to differentiate whether they can legally work "20 hours/ week OR 40 hours/ week on SIN"
o Acceptance of terms and conditions
- Before accepting any position, the staff must have to accept that they meet the requirements for the position (i.e safety shoes, hard hat, distance from position)
Integration between App and Website:
- As soon as the staff accepts the job, there should be a GPS locator that establishes how far the staff is away from the job site
- When the staff arrives on site, there should be a "Clock In" and "Clock Out" button that establishes when the staff started working and finished working
- When the staff takes a break, there should be a "Break In" and "Break Out" button that establishes when the staff started and ended their shift
- When the staff takes a lunch break, there should be a "Lunch In" and "Lunch Out" button that establishes when the staff started and ended their lunch break.
- If the staff neglects to clock in, they will not get paid for the day.
- If the staff neglects to press the "Break In/Out & "Lunch In/Out" the designated time for those breaks will still be deducted from their time
- The point of these Timing Details are because for every staff that is confirmed for work, we need the system to automatically generate the total hours that the staff worked that day as well as a report at the end of the week with the total hours as well as lunch and break deductions.
- At the end of each week, a notification should be send to each clients email asking them to approve the hours that the staff worked. We will then need to format the hours into a viable timesheet that can be used by our accounting department to pay the staff accurately
- The app must be able to be used on iPhone and Android devices
Our Goal
We will be using this interface with our current clients to create a modern and easy way to improve upon Employment services. Our long term goal is have this interface available to new companies across Canada as well as use it as a Temp Job board for staff that are looking for immediate work.
Time Frame:
For this project, we are looking to complete it in the shortest period of time reasonably possible. Ideally, we would like to have this project completed in 1 - 2 months but we are open to the feedback of the freelancers.
