We are a SaaS based HR company dealing in areas such as employee management, payroll, leave management and time and attendance etc...
We are looking for a talented engineer to develop a reporting tool which will fit into our existing website and allow our clients to generate reports across from their data across the different services we are providing to them.
The reporting tool will need to fulfill the following requirements:
- Customisable - the user will be able to create a report picking from a list of available fields
- Responsive - the solution will be responsive and will load reports quickly
- Performant - the solution will not cause any performance impact on our existing application when in operation
We are looking for someone who as worked on reporting solutions previously, who has existing knowledge and is able to guide us in best practice for implementation.
We are open to using existing reporting tools or having the tool written from scratch so long as it meets the requirements stated. A more detailed requirements document will be shared upon job application.
We are hosted on AWS and are open to making use of AWS services where necessary.
We are running Microsoft technology stack and the development will need to be done in ASP.Net Web Forms (Framework 4.5) C#. Git will be used for version control.
You must be well versed in writing clean code and following coding guidelines/standards which will be provided to you. This will include naming conventions and solution structure guidelines.
Ideally the solution will be created as a stand alone service with the goal of running it independently from our main application though with seamless integration (i.e. from the users point-of-view they will not be able to tell the difference)
For example reference please refer to BambooHR Reports. Something similar to this is what we are looking for.
Finally please take note that the project will be charged on a per-project basis and not per-hour. Please keep this in mind for quoting of project costs as we discuss. Payment will be made at agreed upon milestones.
