Project: Developing a macro / xlxs / or other suitable programme, for entering data and entering data into it from invoices for creating a inventory / database of items.
Introduction:
One of my client wishes to make a database / inventory of items purchased by him over period of time. The items are numismatic items (old coins). He wishes to have a data base in order to know in details about the items in his inventory.
His aim is to have a database ready for-
1) To avoid repurchase of same / similar items from his database. To achieve this correct coin details are needed to be entered. He expects to have image of the items in the database. The image should be expandable, after clicking on the smaller image. In general there are 2 images of each item front and back. Some items have only one image .
2) To keep a track of his purchase cost, and hence the costing part including the taxes (GST/ VAT and service tax ) is important .
3) Grouping of the purchase from different vendors/ material, Category etc. Data should be exportable in other programme.
I will provide invoices containing the details of the items and the costing part. These invoices are from vendors. I will be providing the web address of the vendor. You have to take the image from the website. For rest of the data it's up to you to copy paste from the website or typed by self from the invoices. In the course, initial 2-3 items you will find it difficult but once done it will be easy for you
It is expected that you should have a good knowledge of macro/xlxs development, and basic knowledge of search and data entering and photoshop

1) Here I am attaching a template which is not perfect and need correction.
2) Invoice from todywalla auctions web site go in search put lot number and auction number you will find the details.
You only need to enter 1) vendor details , part 2) coin description part 3) costing part. Rest other part like remark extra disposable, will be added by me. 4) Less than 2% of coins have size and weight mentioned kindly enter it, or if you do not wish to enter leave it I will do it.

Column :Source: ( A auction B dealer C other (presently all items are from auction, in future purchase will be from dealers and others) you can add the columns later also (if it is easy, and I will enter the data in it. If you think it will be difficult to enter the columns later kindly add it now, I will enter the data)
Column KM: add column for denomination, weight dimension, material: this can be done later also (same as above)

Image - when clicked on smaller image bigger image should come .
It is expected that the macro should not be rigid, for example if in future I wish to enter another Coolum to the macro with data base, I should be able to enter a column and enter information in future.
Sample work: you need to enter one invoice or 2-3 items from the invoice depending on satisfaction the current project will be awarded.

Please note: This current project is for if first lot of nearly 300 items. After success nearly 1500 items project will be awarded
