At iDream Education, we have a vision to facilitate access to the best of digital learning in local languages to rural and underserved learners both via mobile and tablets, and also to schools via smart class setup.
To further this vision, we need to have encryption and licensing tech setup for both types of our solutions:
1. Educational Tablet
We wish to offer our content pre loaded on SD Cards and fitted into tablets to schools and individual students. The content on the SD card to be encrypted and played via the player in our android platform after activating a one time license which can be perpetual or timed (one year/two year, etc)
2. SD Card
We wish to offer pre loaded SD cards with rural students and NGOs, where even a phone or older tablet can be converted into a learning device by just plugging in the SD card, downloading an app and then activating the license.
3. Smart Class
We wish to offer our multimedia content videos to schools/NGOs for offline usage with one time license activation. A system where we can give the encrypted dump to the school/NGO and then have a very simple way of activating the license and then managing the license from the backend.
For all of the above use cases, we wish to have a simple backend license management system where we can easily manage, extend, delete, activate, review usage reports and handle all user licenses.
Also, for the offline smart class content usage, we would like to have a simple dashboard for usage reports offline to show on that system itself, and can then sync to the backend whenever it connects to internet.
We are looking for people with DRM software experience in Java that can work on both Android and Windows.
We would need you to sign an agreement where you offer us at least 1 year of support and timely bug fixes and thereafter, we can move into a maintenance model, where you ensure the stability and upkeep of the system on an annual retainer model.
