Are you are a whiz in Drupal 8 so you can troubleshoot site problems quickly and efficiently? And are able to work at an affordable price for a not-for-profit site that is doing interesting work in publishing for a strong ecological future? Then you are the person we're looking for. Too often I get freelancers who quote way over what it requires to fix something; with all due respect . . .
Very important: that you really know your way around Drupal 8.
We are an ad-free online publication, The Journal of Wild Culture, run by volunteers and costs supported by donation, that publishes ecological content from an arts and literary perspective. We require an experienced Drupal 8 system administrator to keep the module updates and site issues in good order. For instance, I will provide a update notification, which would be the first task.
Several months ago we upgraded from Drupal 7, so, as publisher/editors we are new to Drupal 8 and require occasional help with our back end. We will require only occasional help from you, but it could be ongoing. Also, in the next year we are implementing a redesign of the site and will need help with that. Tell us why you are qualified and interested in this job. As we have a limited budget, you should have an interest in what we are doing and be pleased to be involved in it.
We have two current issues that you could consider: 1) our categories page is displaying double headlines.(removed by Toogit admin) 2) users are having troubles leaving a comment at the end of articles.
User says, 'After again selecting captcha box and SAVE (which is underneath the left side grey: Reply) it took me back to article and in right hand upper is a blue 'APPLY'.
That kind of thing.
Let us know what you think.
Thanks for your time
