The Project:
A large IA company is looking for an edge device engineer who has experience with assembling and packaging NVIDIA Jetsons for production. You will determine how to create production devices for mass consumer scaling of a video application.
Requirements:
-Expertise with Nvidia Jetson
-Expertise with designing competent enclosures and racks
-Experience with printing designs via 3D printers
-Understanding of production device design requirements for video and NVR input and processing processing, cooling, rack storage
-End location is potentially a secured server room or non-secured home office server environment
-Be able to work EST working hours
Deliverables:
-Determine the logistics of having multiple devices in a server room connected to a server and how to house, store, and rack them.
-Determine the mass production board and cooling solutions based on existing prototype
-Design housing that is fireproof, safe and has cooling for production
-Utilize our 3D printer vendor in the design
-Manage assembly and QC
Phase 1:
-Due Date: June
-deliver 8 - 15 edge devices to client location in Indiana, supervise printing with 3D printer in Brooklyn, manage assembly and delivery
Phase 2:
-Deliver additional devices to 4 additional locations
-Create a plan for scaling the devices across hundreds of locations across the US
-We expect there will be some variations in design given different setup scenarios
