We have already created 4 excel sheets to manage what we require, however the overall system is very clunky, cumbersome and time consuming. We need an excel expert to streamline the whole process for us and to add more capability to the system. We would need to organise some video conference calls to explain the system and the requirements but generally what we are doing as follows (All in excel): -
1. Create a work breakdown structure (WBS) for a company project portfolio.
2. Allow staff to allocate time to each task within the WBS.
3. Produce reports based on items 1 & 2 above.
4. Produce a live dashboard of progress on each task/project etc etc.
5. Apply filters, notifications and other flags which help us streamline decision making.
6. Other capability we will likely add as the project progresses.
