I have an outline written which describes how we need to assign tasks to employees and monitor progress of these tasks. We also want to tie in the task list to the employees time station clock in's and outs. We already keep track of hours in Filemaker and employees punch in and out for our main buisness. using the existing ' time station', we tie this into the new task list so we can track how long each task tales the employee. Some task are simple, some are more complex. The out line weve written describes how to deal with the more complex tasks specifically when an employee is done working on the task for the day, when they clock out, they update what stage of process they are in for the task, add notes for what is needed to complete the existing task ( added parts etc) and they then clock out of the task for the day.
