Primary Goals
- Create a standardized set of general ledger accounts and account classes which can be used as a template to create all the companies in Dynamics GP.
- Create a Template Company with typical default settings so that we can copy the company across the other companies being created below.
o We will handle the technical portions of copying over the company files and ensuring that a copy was successfully created for a new company setup.
- Companies to Implement (names kept confidential - these are all internally owned entities and not clients). Deploy and launch Dynamics GP on these companies
o Company 1 - Technology Service Provider that also sells Product
- Will be Using - GL, AP, AR, BankRec, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing
o Company 2 - Technology Service Provider that also sells Product and has a SaaS solution
- Will be Using - GL, AP, AR, BankRec, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing
o Company 3 - SaaS Software Solution that also has Service Sales
- Will be Using - GL, AP, AR, BankRec, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing
o Company 4 - SaaS Software Solution that also has Service Sales
- Will be Using - GL, AP, AR, BankRec, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing
- Some companies will have various Divisions or Groups that others will not.
- We can delete Divisions and make alterations once a company is created from Template.
- Ensure Reporting is accurate
- Ensure Staff is trained or retrained
- Ensure successful Opening of each company financials and related modules.

Secondary Goals
- Implement Fixed Assets for each company sometime in 2019.
- Utilize the successful contractor on an ongoing basis as a CFO On-Demand.

Things you Should Be Aware of:
- Servers and Infrastructure are already up and running.
- Software is Installed and Updated - GP 2016 R2 and should be GP 2018 Once this engagement starts.
- Staff currently uses GP but we wish to Re-implement from scratch.
- Staff has relatively decent knowledge or Dynamics GP but no advanced knowledge. As a contractor you are welcome to interview them to gain insight into their knowledge upon hire.
- We want to perform a clean open with no historical data migrated. We will have reports to use for any type of financial requests or requirements from lending institutions.
- The listing above is not 100% thorough and obviously there is much more to setup than just a few screens - so please take that into consideration as we are looking for someone to take charge and run with this versus simply using this as a checklist and calling it a day.
