Required Wordpress Theme freelancer for Fix Wordpress Theme job

Currently using Pixelgrade's Wordpress theme 'Lens'. Do not want to change themes. Am editing it with Elementor. Unfortunately, there are two problems that need to be fixed:
1) When using an Elementor template, the field for 'excerpts' no longer functions.
2) After clicking on a link in a page, the page will not load unless the entire window is refreshed.

I need both of those issues fixed with an easy way for me to add more content to the home page that will not require special coding to insert Excerpts.

I will share some sample links with shortlisted candidates.
