Apparel Designer for Cabana Life
Cabana Life is looking for an ongoing relationship with a seasoned designer, who will be charged with:
-determining the overall look and feel of each collection (Resort, Spring, Fall)
-designing, adapting and/or selecting prints from a print house that embody the brand
-honoring the tried-and-true silhouettes and vibe, while infusing newness each season
-selecting fabrics, trim and "surprises" to delight customers
-sourcing new trims and fabrics
-informing new designs based on past selling, failures and successes
-presenting new design boards to management
-overseeing tech designer to complete necessary techpack
-executing on or overseeing print layouts, pitching colors, scaling, etc.
-approving all design submits for color, quality, and design
-overseeing fit sessions
-designing a "family dressing" capsule collection for men, girls and boys inspired by the women's collection
-assisting with any private label or "collab" design opportunities
