Please read the whole job post before you apply, and indicate your full understanding in your cover letter.

We're looking for a UX/UI Visual designer and front-end browser-app developer who can ask the right questions and fill in the blanks to interactively co-develop our startup ideas into a visually beautiful, but not at all (yet) functional customer-facing dashboard website "utility." We are not yet adding the automations, back-end, API's, etc., but we want it to "look that way" to customers who sign up for our service so that we can begin gathering data and developing the back-end functionality iteratively.

Our ideal applicant is highly experienced in similar projects, has a solid portfolio we can reference upfront, is strategy-minded and results-oriented, is an excellent communicator, and is available full-time and during US Pacific Time hours. We will need a fairly thorough cover letter expressing what you bring to the table, with clear and justified bidding on timeline and cost estimates, weighing in on the details below. Please include your hourly bid, your bid for each of four week-long sprints, your bid for the project as a whole, and your expected ongoing costs for after the project. The first four or five weeks will require your full attention. I will interview the top candidates with more specific details about our actual project. (For what it's worth: While this is our first Toogit project, we have created several successful startups and we're not new to the game. Our ideas are fully developed, but we have no wireframes, mockups, or final copy.)

We have an agency who is developing the main website, branding, styling, onboarding wizard, outbound and inbound marketing and strategy, emails, CRM, etc. You will interact with them for cohesion. Their website is based in Webflow, so you may want to stay with that base, if possible. Once a new customer is onboarded (where you come in), we want them to sign into a visually polished web-based dashboard-like interface that appears functional and has interactive elements, walk-through wizards, etc. However, any apparent automation or functionality will be an illusion while we build out the back-end as we learn. We will likely just send form data from this utility as text to either an email or spreadsheet, from which our employees will manually set up campaigns and track customer data. Your contribution will be primarily a matter of visuals.

This job is meant to be a fast, agile, sprint-based, affordable, self-directed, ongoing, design-heavy, strategy-heavy, programming-light, flexible, iterative, "minimum viable product." We expect to spend the first week or two in regular, possibly daily, meetings with our CEO and COO, and possibly our agency, mapping out the flow and feel of the interface and other browser-based elements of the customer journey after the point of sale. There will be a few basic step-by-step "wizards" built into this dashboard, and we'll have to figure out with you exactly how they should look, what they should say, etc. We want your extensive previous experience to weigh in on best practices for UX, UI, and the customer journey. For the second week's sprint, we will expect you to go to the drawing board and come back with something minimally functional that we can see and interact with. For the third week, we will expect a fully functional alpha product, and by the end of the fourth week, we expect to fully go to market. At this point, after 4-5 weeks, customers will have full access to this dashboard as a paid product, and they will be expected to feel as though they are interacting with a fully functional, interactive browser application, unaware of the missing back-end.

Please consider posting your *minimum* bid for this project and its sprints. We will consider affordability as part of the vetting. Because this job is meant to be very light on programming and coding, we're looking for a 'scrappy' and minimal front-end. We fully intend to 'flesh out' this product over time, so the lower your bid on the project, the more we can afford to work with you at higher costs as we develop into a fully-fledged service. As we bring in full-stack, back-end, QA, etc., we hope to see you stay on as our designer at your premium rates (to be included in your cover letter).
