I'm an architect, looking to solve a problem existing in the design and construction industry, especially small scale projects.
To be more specific, there seems to be a disconnect between the architects, civil engineers, and contractors, and I believe this is due to the lack of tech hardware and software usage at the construction site. Construction management softwares do exist like Bluebeam, apollo construct etc. and I did try to solve this issue with these platforms, but there seems to be a huge learning curve,they are not affordable for small projects, they try to do too many things that they seem cluttered and the UI is pretty bad as well. I've spoken to other architects in the field and done my due diligence and this problem seems to be ubiquitous.
I have now formulated a set of software feature requirements, which will have to be deployed as 'beta' ios, android and desktop application, which could potentially be the start as a solution. I would like to discuss this further, apply if interested.
