I'm building a website and would like the opinion of a Full Stack Developer on a few things.
- What languages are particular websites using to build and post with?
- What is the best framework to use for the website I'm building?
- How much do you think it would cost to build my website?
- What are core concepts and components for me to understand to accomplish my goals?
- What would on going costs be for a website of this magnitude?
I'll be building a video game website that's primary goal is to post gaming deals, it will also show a particular video games current price on multiple websites, so a cross reference of pricing. I have many examples to show, but a strong example would be isthere anydeal .com
If you click on any one particular game and click '# more' how are they comparing all of those websites? Is it manual data entry or is there some language grabbing data and posting. What are the primary langues for that website? How many people do you think run that website? Funny enough, that website has a resource page that lists all the 3rd party languages and API's they use.
