Our company attends multiple trade shows throughout the year. Our goal is to have every exhibiting brand in our database (Salesforce) matched to each trade show so we can track our Sales. I have already run vlookups for these exhibiting brands against our database of existing brands. However, we have two problems:
1) The way that the Exhibiting Brand is named on each trade show website is often times not an exact match with the way we name the Account in Salesforce (ie. ABC Apparel vs ABC Apparel Inc., so we need to fuzzy match against our list to find the matching Account and its unique ID ('Account ID').
2) Not all Exhibiting Brands are in our database yet, so after a fuzzy match is performed, we need to identify which ones do NOT match so we can upload them to our database.
Our database has roughly 32,000 companies, and every week we have anywhere from 100 - 1000 new companies to fuzzy match. I will provide very specific instructions.
I need someone comfortable with working in Google Sheets and helping merge newly matched results into an existing Google Sheet.
