I am setting up a dedicated server solution with connections to AWS and Azure and need help with the setup. I know basic networking, but not much beyond that. I have some DELL S6100-ON switches that should support any network design.
I would need help over the next 4 weeks getting everything setup and then would likely need help setting up client's peering arrangements. I shouldn't need any help in Virginia as I can be your remote hands, but I am open to paying for travel if necessary.
Initial focus will be getting Azure ExpressRoute and local SDN designed and configured. Because the network will have multiple clients I am looking to do multiple VLANs and VRF. Azure also requires QinQ.
The data center is Atlantic Metro IAD6 near Reston, VA. They are providing 2 fiber 10G ports for Azure/AWS and a 1G port for initial DIA.
My thoughts are to create a backend IPMI/SNMP/RDP/remote management VLAN, a VLAN for each Azure VNET peer and then probably a separate VLAN for DIA. Most servers will not need to be reached over the internet, but will need to be able to reach out to the internet.
Strong preference for configuration script driven approach, which the Dell/Force 10 ON switches support.
