Hello, I'd like someone with the right experience/background, to help me figure out the most cost effective way to set up solar for my new home in Puerto Rico. I have a home under construction and would like to buy/ship/install the best solar setup there. Here are the requirements for the system:
-Must be able to power a 4,500 SF home
-Setup should include some sort of battery as well (like Tesla powerwall)
-Setup should be the most cost effective and reliable
-Setup should be something that can either be protected in case of hurricanes or taken down relatively easily in case of severe weather.
Deliverable should include:
-Outline of options available and which is best for solar panels
-Which battery storage solution I should use
-Breakdown of the repayment period assuming electricity costs $0.25 per kwH
I do not need anything designed or any sort of engineering work done. Anyone who knows what to look for online and who has set up a few systems in the past should be able to do a couple hours of research together to help me answer this.
