Quite frankly, I never hired for this position before, so I will do my best to explain my needs: I currently run a business and I handle all of the back end IT support for the team. I get new hires set up with email, slack, etc. As the company moves forward, I realize that I can't be the go-to person and still run the company effectively. So I'm deciding to bring on some help.
Essentially, this person will help with tech issues when they come up and will also source new products that can help the business become more efficient. For one example, we are currently sharing a customer service inbox and are moving over to a ticketing system. I don't have a clue on how to properly setup the system (Zoho Desk), so I would like to hand it off to an IT person who will then teach the team how to use it.
Overall, I'm looking for someone, part-time, who will potentially become full-time as we grow. We need someone knowledgable and resourceful who has a great personality. Someone transparent and trustworthy. We are a small company with a great future ahead.
